Solid Scheme…Hook The Track Up

In the early 90's the production team or artist was just as important as the main artist, quite often you would flip over to the back of the 12" inch record to see the production credits, one of the (many) that stood out was a duo known as Solid Scheme Music, Derek Lynch and Chris Charity (RIP) laced dope beats for Das EFX (full Dead Serious album), PMD, Knucklehedz, Top Quality, Kam, D-Nice and K-Solo.

Solid Scheme's sound was good ol' boom bap often with familiar drums and funk samples but it worked well and bumps in the headphones and a good stereo system (low end on some tracks is really ill) ...

I do find it incredible that after a thorough online search I can't find one picture of the duo....It's almost as if they didn't exist, from what I know online Derek Lynch still makes beats but sadly Chris Charity passed away, when or how I have no idea sorry but it must have been sometime after 1998 as that was the last time they produced on Das EFX's Generation EFX album.
